Bay Area Somatic Therapy Center is a nonprofit focusing on supporting others living with trauma (including CPTSD), anxiety, stress, burnout, relational challenges, and major life transitions. We welcome individuals from all cultural & ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, & gender identities. Our mission is to provide access to somatic and trauma-informed care in San Francisco + California.

Affordable weekly groups designed to support regulation, connection, and healing in community.

$30/week • 8-week cycles

A portion of all individual therapy fees helps fund low-fee CPTSD groups—so community healing spaces are not only for those who can afford full private-pay therapy.

What is somatic therapy? 

Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to psychotherapy that supports healing through awareness of sensation, nervous system patterns, and the ways emotions live in the body. It can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, shame, and chronic stress, particularly when talk therapy alone hasn’t felt like enough.
